The Gate House is a studio cabin nestled beneath the redwoods. Gate House is one side of a duplex with its own private entrance and patio, and has one shared wall (with the Little Red House).

This cabin has a King bed and a European-style closet constructed with color-dyed birch ecoplywood with open shelving for storage and hanging clothes. Two skylights provide a view of the redwood canopy above, and a small kitchenette features a round glass countertop sink, microwave, and under-counter beverage cooler. The seating area has a leather loveseat and vintage-style coffee table with a welcoming cast-iron glass-front gas fireplace in the corner. The bathroom has heated tile floors, a walk-in shower, and a sleek floating vanity counter with a large ceramic sink.

The landscaped outdoor space is partially fenced for privacy with a view of the woods, and features a unique redwood tree with a small hollow at the base, a private firepit stocked daily with complimentary firewood, two Adirondack chairs, and a side table cut from a natural tree trunk.
