Glen Oaks Big Sur is unique among many properties in the area because we allow any of our hotel or cabin guests to have their “true” elopement on our property with no additional permit or site fee. As long as you are staying with us, you are welcome to choose a spot anywhere along our private guest walking trail that winds through the redwoods along the Big Sur River to exchange your vows.
“True” elopements at Glen Oaks have a strict maximum limit of 4 people in attendance, including the couple (generally this means the couple, an officiant, and a photographer). If you would like to add any guests like friends or family, you will need to choose one of our two ceremony sites and enter a formal contract with a site fee to host your celebration with us.
