The Bunkhouse is a stand-alone one-bedroom cabin with an outdoor clawfoot bathtub nestled beneath the redwoods and in the most private section of our 20-acre property. It is accessed solely by crossing a 150-foot suspension footbridge over the Big Sur River.

The living room features a comfortable seating area with a midcentury modern-style couch and leather chair, in front of a one-of-a-kind redwood and metal coffee table. A built-in gas fireplace with a custom tile and wood mantel provides heat and ambience. The living room is completed by a compact kitchenette with open shelving, a granite countertop, copper sink, microwave, and under-counter beverage cooler.

Separated from the living room by a frosted-glass barn door, the bedroom features a King bed, custom built in raw pine dresser and closet for hanging clothes, and a large picture window looking out on the private patio. Another frosted-glass barn door leads into the deluxe bathroom with heated natural pebble stone floors, a sleek modern vanity with stainless-steel countertop and sink, handmade redwood-slab bench, and large walk-in glass waterfall shower with a floor-to-ceiling window wall looking out onto the patio.

A glass door in the bedroom leads out to your private fenced haven beneath the trees, with a clawfoot soaking tub large enough for two, and Adirondack chairs on the deck by your private firepit, stocked daily with complimentary firewood.
